Facing COVID-19...we keep on working

In accordance with the Decree 463/2020 approved last Saturday, March 14th, where citizens are urged to be confined to their homes, from Alcion Packaging Solutions, we want to inform you that we have activated the Emergency Internal Procedure with the aim of preserving the health of all our workers and contributing to preventing contagion on the one hand, and on the other, to ensure the continuity of our production and service to all our customers.

APS actively contributes to the fight against the pandemic by producing hundreds of thousands of bottles daily, aimed at containing hydro alcoholic gel and skin-disinfectants for the eradication of the virus and also industrial disinfectants that help improve sanitary and hygienic conditions of our environment.

APS collaborates decisively, as well, to alleviate the effects of this terrible scourge, manufacturing packaging intended for the agrochemical sector, which is necessary and essential to prevent that this situation may cause a reduction in the crops that could, consequently aggravate the already difficult circumstances in which the outbreak has left the planet.

The entire ALCION team is operational trying to give some normality to this exceptional situation. People of the Administration, Commercial-Marketing, HR, Production and Quality staff perform telework from Monday, March 16. Both internal and external meetings, all trips and visits to suppliers and customers, as well as the entry of suppliers or external personnel except for duly justified cause are all suspended.

Customer service is maintained from 08:00 to 15:00 in our offices according to the contingency plans established by the Company Management, our logistic service, both national and international is working 100% to deliver orders according to the dates and the remaining staff is held in their positions by teleworking.

We long for the restoration of normality as soon as possible once this health crisis overcomes and we will keep working hard to contribute to it.
